AACTE - American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education is a great site that includes policy, data and research related to teacher preparation, teacher effectiveness, pathways to teaching and government relations. AACTE is also the source of The Journal of Teacher Education and many of its articles and past issues are archived on the site.

Education Week – The leading source of weekly educational news is a wealth of information, updates and resources. This includes the on-line magazine Teacher, with specific focus on the work of p12 teachers.
ERIC is a national information system funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences to provide access to education literature and resources.
