Scholarship Information

2004 NAME International Conference:

“Unmasking the Legacy of the Brown Decision Through Multicultural Education”

October 27 – 31, 2004

Hyatt Regency Crown Center – Kansas City, Missouri 

A limited amount of scholarship assistance is available, consistent with NAME’s philosophy of inclusion, to enable persons with limited income – particularly students – to participate in each year’s NAME Conference.  Most scholarships are for the Conference Registration or related expenses.  In order to participate more fully with NAME and to assist with the conference, we ask that each scholarship recipient takes a shift in helping with the conference coordination tasks, as needed, and shares what she/he learns at the conference with others once the conference is over.  To be considered for scholarship assistance, applicants must complete and submit the form below.   

Applications must be returned to NAME no later than August 30, 2004.  If additional funds become available, a few scholarships may be awarded after this date.
